QUEENSDAY MASSIVE!!

Rather than hitting the first coffee shop in sight and slowly but surely forgetting what year it is…Why not start the Queensday celebrations by joining the Patta crew as they take us through a musical journey… “El haloef soq d’juliana” the most talked about event to be kicking off Holland’s festivities. Plenty of Dj’s to keep us dancing all night, including the legendary Edzon.

Tickets are available at Patta and Löfel & Burke, it’s probably already sold out. But then you could always try and squeeze it.

MSG IS NOT FOR ME...

So after yet another Kingsland road Vietnamese and yet again feeling a bit dodgy, i have come to a conclusion that MSG my be the cause to the problem. I have decided it is to be eradicated from my diet, once and for all. It gives nothing good to the body. And anyway i asked the chef and he said "if you want me take it out i will".

Commonly used in Asian cooking MSG is a form of sodium that in-hanses flavor. However studies show that it mat be linked to many forms of illnesses.


MSG symptom complex — may include:

Headache, sometimes called MSG headache
Flushing
Sweating
Sense of facial pressure or tightness
Numbness, tingling or burning in or around the mouth
Rapid, fluttering heartbeats (heart palpitations)
Chest pain
Shortness of breath
Nausea
Weakness

Well that says it all for me....

What a pleasure it was to see Nash Money today after missing his surprise birthday and not seeing him for time.

DOGTOWN AND Z-BOYS

Dogtown Santa Monica California...The original, the innovators, the real story makers.

Skateboarding as we know it originally started in the salty seas off the Californian coasts, on the surf. From there young riders started incorporating their surfing skills and everything they had learnt in the barrels of the pacific, slowly started applying it straight to short boards with ceramic wheels. Zephyr slowly come in to the picture; the first skate team.

They used to find empty swimming pools to use as bolls and if they weren't empty they would drain the water in a couple hours.


This documentary uses original footage from the 70's from the wanna be riders, the ones who weren't good enough to get on the team, it was a way of being part of the team.


Without the Zephyr crew skateboarding wouldn't exist...
