Happy Birthday Robert Nesta Marley!
Mr Marley i want to take this time to thank you for creating a style of music that has the power to heal, has the power to inspire, and the strength to change moods. Thank you for having a vision and being true to what you stood for. Your music will live forever and be passed through every generation until humans destruction to mother earth slowly eats away at it's resources until all that will exist will be nothingness, only vibration and sound waves.
Peter Tosh, Rita & Bob Marley:
A drawing that I've had for years which lives on my wall just above all my music.

BDK ON THE MIC AGAIN
BDK the story of Bid Daddy Kane is directed by Anthony Marshall (co-founder of lyricist lounge).
A legend, musical genius, fashion icon and inspiration to many, Bid Daddy Kane was an originator who transformed Hip Hop forever.
This is the trailer for the documentary which looks at the life of BDK, starting from a young boy who saved $25 for his first microphone and looking at his experiences growing up as a rapper in Brooklyn New York City.
Not sure of the release date but here is the teaser.
